Land O’ Lakes Christian School’s elementary program lays a solid spiritual and academic foundation helping students acquire age-appropriate social, emotional, motor, and academic skills.
The Abeka curriculum develops students’ understanding of language and math through a variety of direct instruction, hands-on, and game-styled learning activities. In addition to Bible, students receive a wide variety of lessons in phonics, handwriting, math, science, social studies, and music. All subjects at Land O’ Lakes Christian School are taught through a biblical worldview.
Our Specials Program is designed to spark curiosity, build physical confidence, and cultivate creativity. From Pre-school through Elementary, all students participate in a rotating schedule of specialized classes. These classes provide a dynamic break in the academic day, allowing children to explore their talents through:
ART: Developing fine motor skills and visual storytelling.
MUSIC: Exploring music, theory, and vocal expression.
PE: Building teamwork, agility, and healthy habits.
COMPUTERS: Mastering digital literacy and problem-solving.
SPANISH: Introducing foundational language skills.
