Admissions Process
Step by Step
We are thrilled that you are considering our school for your family! We’ve designed our admissions process to be as clear and welcoming as possible. Follow the steps below and let us know if you have any questions. Please make sure to read our Admissions Requirements for your student’s grade.
Step 1: Tour & Interview
The best way to experience our campus is in person. We invite you to attend our annual Open House, typically held the last Sunday in January. Come explore our campus, talk with our teachers, and get a feel for our community (no need to pre-register). If the Open House doesn’t fit your schedule give our admissions office a call at
(813) 995-9040 to schedule a personal tour and an interview. We can’t wait to meet you!
Step 2: Complete the Online Application
Following your interview, you will receive a link to our student portal. Take your time filling out the Online Application and submitting the standard application fee. A Pastoral Reference will be requested from your pastor (for all 6th through 12th grade students) as a requirement of the approval process.
Step 3: Admissions Review
Once your application is submitted, our admissions committee will review it. We will notify you via email regarding your approval status as soon as the review is complete.
Step 4: Entrance Testing
After your initial approval, a member of our staff will reach out to you directly to coordinate and schedule a convenient time for your child’s entrance testing, which helps us ensure they are placed in the best position to succeed. (Entrance Testing Fee = $50 per student)
Step 5: Submit Required Documentation
To finalize your child's enrollment file, please email all necessary documentation (such as birth certificate, immunization records, and School Entry Health Form) to school@fbclol.org.
Step 6: Select Electives (JH and HS Only)
Junior High and High School students can set up with meeting with Mr. Hartsfield or Pastor Martin to select their electives and set their schedule for the school year.
Step 7: Watch Your Inbox Over the Summer
Keep a close eye on your email throughout the summer months! We will be sending out essential updates, including supply lists, uniform requirements, and important calendar dates.
Step 8: Attend Mandatory Orientation
Mark your calendars! Our mandatory Family Orientation takes place a couple days before the first day of school. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your teachers, find your classrooms, and connect with other families.
