Junior High School

Land O’ Lakes Christian School purposes to give students what they need to thrive when they enter their high school years. Our academics push students to do their best and help the average junior high student to score in the 70th-80th percentile on the IOWA achievement test.

7th & 8th grade

Junior high school is seen as a transition time from elementary to high school. Because of this Land O’ Lakes Christian School endeavors to use this time to prepare and equip their students for high school. The teachers do this by adding upon the foundation they have already received and emphasizing the core subjects that will give them the knowledge base that they will need in the coming years. LOLCS uses a challenging curriculum with a uniquely Christian worldview.

Junior high students are offered electives to help mold the whole person. These electives include classes like Choir, Band, Keyboarding, Public Speaking, Personal Finance, Critical Thinking, and Current Events.
